And tweets are short messages that you post to those following you on twitter with the intention that those messages are funny, useful and interesting to the general audience.

However, only those that are registered on twitter can like, post, and retweet “tweets”. If you aren’t registered, you can’t like, post, and retweet, you can only read “tweets”.

The main purpose of twitter is to connect and interact with people. As well as enabling people to share their thoughts with the general audience.

The main benefits (business benefits) of using twitter is to:

  • Boost your website SEO
  • Promote your blogs, presentation, and many others.
  • Keep you in touch with the latest trends in your industry
  • Drive website traffic
  • Multiply brand awareness
  • Get instant feedback about your products or services
  • Monitor your brand reputation
  • Gain direct access to high-profile individuals and many more.

Twitter was launched in 2006, on the 21st of March in the U.S. And was founded by Jack Dorsey, Evan Williams, Noah Glass, and Biz Stone.

Twitter Dark Mode

Twitter has had a night mode since 2016, but the feature misses something vital, which is the Black Color Scheme. Before, twitter’s dark mode was just a normal blue and gray user interface.

But was actually designed to reduce the way we strain our eyes. However, twitter is now adding more options to its iOS app.

You won’t get only a real, black-colored dark mode (that is, Lights out), you can as well set up your device to automatically enable the new feature.

Those using Android got theirs in the year 2017, and twitter is expanding it. The Twitter app for iOS turns on by itself whenever it’s night, though if you choose so.

Well if you are a fan of the normal blue-and-gray mode, you can still have it. You can still choose to make use of it instead of the black-and-white mode.

Light outs: According to Twitter, enabling the light out feature does not reflect any lights on your device. Because the pixels are being turned off. And this helps to reduce eye strain as well as saving your battery.

Dim: The dim feature, a dark blue option has been existing for long but the light out is really a true black dark theme!

  • Now click on Settings and Privacy.
  • Then click on Display and Sound and activate the dark mode (you can choose either the Dim or Lights out).
