PUMA Launched Its First Smartwatch in India with AMOLED Display and GPS


The German-based sports brand PUMA in cooperation with Fossil, launched its first smartwatch last year in the Indian market. The PUMA smartwatch PT9100 has a lot of great features and is specifically designed to help athletes train and track while being able to connect with others.

The PUMA PT9100 smartwatch is available in three different colors which are; yellow, white and black which comes with neon, rose gold and grey dials. This smartwatch comes with a 44mm circular 1.19-inch AMOLED display. It has an aluminum casing with a textured silicone strap and is lightweight. The PT9100 is also water-resistant up to 5ATM. The watch allows users to customize information on their screens based on their requirements.

The PUMA PT9100 smartwatch has Wifi, Altimeter, Bluetooth, Accelerometer and Gyroscope. This smartwatch also has an in-built NFC chip that allows users to make payments through the Google Pay app. The smartwatch has a battery life of two days on a single charge and a very fast charge of 2 hours.


The PUMA PT9100 smartwatch is built with a RAM of 512MB and onboard storage of 4GB. It has a GPS, heart rate monitor and enables tracking for various activities. Through the Google fit, users can track some activities like push-ups, strength training, rowing, spinning, pilates, etc. The PUMA PT9100 smartwatch comes with its brand’s TRAC app that enables users to leave their phones at home and activity tracking information would be available on the smartwatch. This smartwatch is equipped with Google assistance which enables the user to give a voice command.

Talking about the Battery life, The smartwatch lasts up to a day or 2days on a single charge. The smartwatch charges wirelessly and it takes almost two hours for a full charge which is great.



Now let’s talk about the software, the watch runs in the Android wear OS and you can also synchronize your data with the Google fit. Another amazing thing about this watch is you can monitor your heart rate, sleep data, workout goal progress, workout data and much more. However, this smartwatch works with all smartphones that are running Android 6.0+ except iOS 10.0+ and Go edition.
