Latest Update on Covid 19 also known as Cornavirus

The death toll increases all over the world, with a total number of 37,091 and 775,540. Today in Italy the death toll from the COVID 19 virus rose by 812 to 11,591. Italy still has over 100,000 affected people with 4,050 new cases reported.

While in Spain over 800 death was recorded in the last 24 hours, reaching 7,340. In Iran 117 death was recorded in the last 24 hours rising to 2,757 death.

Meanwhile, in the USA the federal guidelines on social distancing were extended by President Donald Trump to April 30. He made the extension after he was warned by a top health official that between 100,000 to 200,000 people could die from COVID 19 virus in the USA.

Latest Update on COVID 19

139,000 confirmed infections currently in the USA, having more the highest infected in the world. In the last 24 hours, New York City reported 253 deaths.

However, in Turkey within the past 24 hours, as many as 37 people died of the coronavirus. This was according to released figures by Turkey’s Health Ministry. This brings the death toll to 168.

According to the Minister of Health, 1,610 more people were tested positive for coronavirus, making the total confirmed coronavirus cases to be 10,827.

France reported that in the last 24 hours since the coronavirus epidemic begins, they recorded the highest daily number of deaths. 418 more people had died and it takes the death toll to 3,024.

In the daily report of France government, They reported that the people hospitalized in France with the coronavirus are now 20,946, and 5,056 of them are in thorough care.

In United Kingdom, the death toll of coronavirus rose to 1,408. An increment of 180 was recorded which is lesser than the previous death toll of 209.

Speaking of Africa, there are now more than 4,600 cases confirmed in the last 24 hours, as many Africa countries impose different ways of preventing and containing the spread of the coronavirus.

According to the recent data provided by the Africa Center for Disease Control on coronavirus in Africa. The breakdown is disturbing as countries’ cases increase.

As the infected cases increase in Nigeria. Nigeria implemented a total lockdown in three Major City that is homes to about 30 million people. This is in a means to contain the virus and reduce the spread of it as Nigeria is the most populated country in Africa.

By 11 pm local time 30 March, the lockdown in Lagos, Abuja, and Ogun kicks in, and this will be for at least 14 days. This was announced by the President of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday being 29 March.
