Set up your auto reply
- From your browser login to Gmail account.
- In the top right, click Settings Settings with the gear icon.
- Next Scroll down to “Vacation responder” section.
- Select Vacation responder on to start auto reply.
- Input the date range, subject, and message( the auto reply that contacts will see).
- Under your message, check the box if you only want your contacts to see your auto reply.
- Finally, click save changes at the bottom of the page.
Note: If you have a Gmail signature, it will be shown at the bottom of your vacation response.
Turn off your vacation reply
If your auto reply is on, a banner will be displayed across your inbox showing the subject of your auto reply.
To turn off your vacation response, click End now.
