Looking away from the iPhone 11, pro, and pro max is the Apple watch series 5. It is another device released in the same event on September 10. Apple’s Watch Series 5 has now been made available to pre-order online starting on 10 September. At the end of Apple’s presentation, it was made known that the phone will be available in stores from 20 September.
The Apple Watch Series 5 pricing starts at $399/£399 for the GPS only model and rises to $499/£499 for added features of GPS and Cellular model.

Like the iPhone 11, Apple also did some big changes on the Apple Watch Series 5 from the series 4. Especially in terms of display. However, the trademark style of the Apple Watches is here too.
The Apple Watch Series 5 brings the first Always On Display, meaning that you do not need to press the watch to have a glance. Because power saving mode it won’t drain the 18 hours enabled battery and guess what it feels just like a normal watch.
Most notably the watch has a new compass that you can always use to find your way home. The compass is a high tech as it offers users inclination and elevation data. There is also a new safety feature onboard in the form of international emergency calling. This feature is only available on the Cellular models but users will be able to press and hold the side button on their Watch and it will dial emergency services.
In terms of other features, the Apple Watch Series 5 offers the same features as Series 4, including waterproofing, an electrical heart sensor built into the Digital Crown and all the activity and workout features the older model has.

The next-generation Apple Watch software was announced on June 2019 and it has a few tricks up its sleeve that comes to Apple Watch Series 5. There’s an App Store, a step towards Apple Watch not being so reliant on your iPhone.
There are new watch faces such as a new gradient face, digital face and more. while you can also get Apple Watch to alert you at the top of the hour. A new Noise app alerts you if the decibel level is too high around you. It’s set up for those regularly in noisy environments where there is potential for gradual hearing loss after long-term exposure.
Then there’s a cycle tracking feature that will enable female watch wearers to track menstrual cycles. You can also get predictions about fertile times. This will be available in the Health App in iOS, too, so you won’t necessarily need an Apple Watch.
Finally, new Apple Watch apps also have accommodation for a voice memo, calculator and audiobooks. The calculator will enable users to split-the-bill and work out tips.
