Supercenters: These are hyper markets that sell general merchandise and a full-service supermarket including baked goods, frozen foods, meat & poultry, fresh sea foods, garden produce and dairy products. Many supercenters have a pet shop, optical centers, hair and nail salons and fast food outlets like Burger King, Subway, McDonald’s, Dunkin’ Donuts, etc.

Discount stores: They sell limited groceries and general merchandise. Many of these stores have a pharmacy, garden center, optical center, tire & lube express, portrait studio, cell phone store, a bank branch and fast food outlets.

Neighborhood markets: These stores operate a chain of smaller groceries sales. They focus on three of Walmart’s major sales categories; groceries, fuel, and pharmacy. They also sell pet supplies, cleaning products, beer sales and wine. The products here are sold at the same prices as those in the supercenters.

The company’s international operations comprise 800, 000 workers and 6, 363 stores in 26 countries outside the U.S. as of 31st January 2017. These countries include:
